If your employee has children, consider whether their schools will move with them. If not, know where you can find similar schools nearby and how much they cost in order to budget accordingly. If your employee has pets, research pet policies in Colombia to know what kind of accommodation is available for them when they arrive there if necessary (which can be more expensive than in their country).
